Mogwai
I can't understand why more people do not listen to Mogwai. Most people I know have heard of them but didn't really pay much attention. For the last ten years they have been putting out some really good records. They released Mr. Beast this year and it's definitely in my top ten of 2006 so far.

These songs are great, really great acually, but I know I won't listen to them very much. I like lyrics. It's similar to how I feel about Sigur Ros. I don't have a freaking clue what they are saying but the music is beautiful. Yet I don't ever crave to hear it. Im sure its very unhipster but I like lyrics.
you know you can respond back to comments too. This is not just a one way thing. Mr. "you never leave comments on mine..."
Mogwai isn't an instrumental band, they have lyrics. They sing in English too... They tend to treat their lyrics as more of an instrument though rather than the forefront of the music. Buy Mr. Beast - trust me.
